A good list turns "I'll find something later" into "let's watch this." Cinopsys lets you build a list for anything, add any movie or show to it, and, if you sync, create and edit it with Trakt, MDBList or WeTrakr (Simkl lists are read-only). Here's how to set them up and a few ideas to start.

Create a custom list in 5 steps

Open your lists
In Cinopsys, head to the Lists area, where your watchlist and any custom lists live together.

Create a new list
Start a new list and give it a clear name, Comfort Shows, Movie Night, Before It Leaves Netflix. The name is the whole point, so make it specific.

Add any movie or show
Search for a title and add it to your list. There's no limit to what you can pile in, and a title can sit in more than one list at once.

Organize and filter
Reorder items so the next pick is on top, and use Cinopsys's filters, genre, year, rating, runtime, to slice a long list down to exactly what fits the moment.

Sync it or back it up
If you've connected Trakt or Simkl, your lists sync there automatically. Running standalone? They're saved with your library and included in your Google Drive backup.

What's the difference between the watchlist and a custom list?
Your watchlist is the catch-all for things you mean to watch. Custom lists let you organize beyond that, by mood, occasion, person or theme, so a movie-night queue and your comfort shows don't get lost in one big pile.
